Monica Cockerille
Monica received her law degree from the University of Wyoming in 1996. She spent the first 9 years of her legal career as in-house counsel for Boise Cascade Corporation handling a variety of legal work including contracts, leases, mergers and acquisitions, labor and employment matters, litigation, in addition to providing general legal advice and support to the company. In 2005, Monica established her own law firm and while she continued to handle contracts and other transactional work, she narrowed her practice to primarily providing litigation support to Boise Cascade Company and other companies. In 2015, in addition to her litigation support practice, she began practicing in the field of assisted reproduction, providing legal services to individuals and families with fertility law needs.
Monica’s extensive experience both in negotiating contracts and representing clients in state and Federal courts ensures that her clients have practical, reliable and real-world legal advice. Clients benefit from Monica’s experience and knowledge beyond just assisted reproduction.
Monica and her team pride themselves on being responsive and work to make the legal part of any assisted reproduction process effortless. Her team will use their knowledge, experience and compassion to help you with all of your fertility law needs, including drafting and reviewing gestational carrier agreements, completing court parentage paperwork, donor agreements, and related legal advice and services. Monica is proud to be an Art Fellow of the Academy of Adoption & Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (www.aaarta.org), a member of the American Bar Association, and of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
When she isn’t in the courtroom or helping clients build their families, you can find her hiking, camping or doing anything outdoors.

Cydni Waldner
Cydni Waldner graduated cum laude from Harvard University in 1993 and obtained her law degree from University of Montana in 1997. Her legal career began at Boise Cascade Corporation, where she first met Monica. Their paths diverged as Cydni began to focus on employer representation, particularly employee benefits, including insurance. One day, years later, Monica reached out to Cydni with a question on insurance for a gestational carrier, and the rest is history. Cydni found that she truly enjoyed helping people navigate the complicated legal aspects of the decision to have a child through surrogacy and has represented surrogacy clients through her own law practice for more than a decade. Cydni is pleased to bring her experience and dedication to the team at Idaho Fertility Law, to continue helping people on their surrogacy journeys.
Cydni is married and lives in the small town of New Meadows, Idaho, with her husband, a few horses and chickens and too many dogs to name. When she's not in the office, she spends her time reading, riding horses and camping, and keeping up with her three grown children.

But perhaps more importantly, her own legal and personal in-vitro fertilization experience enables her to truly understand this journey and be a resource for clients going through any assisted reproduction or fertility process. Sarah has been working to help build families for over 16 years. Her experience began over 20 years ago when she and her husband were blessed with three amazing children because of her sister, who was their gestational carrier.
